INTRODUCTION

“Yoga Sutra” is the classic work of Patanjali (Spiritual Teacher, ca. 6th century B.C.), which defines in an extremely concise form the basic provisions of the eight-step path of development. These sutras are among the best known and most often quoted primary sources on yoga, but they are not fully understandable and have many interpretations. The reason for this is the encrypted nature of most of the sutras, which is also characteristic of the Vedas and many other ancient texts. The purpose of this work is not a literal translation of the primary source, but a presentation of the knowledge system of classical and modern yoga based on it.

Deciphering the sutras is based on the use of two principles: theoretical and technical. The theoretical principle implies understanding of yoga terminology, spiritual laws, energetic mechanisms of consciousness work and methods of its management (not fully described so far). The technical principle is based on the use of semantic, digital and meditative keys in the processing of the text, reduced to the rules of word replacement, their rearrangement and determination of the sequence of sutras.

The presentation of the material is based on the rules of presentation of information and is aimed at achieving the greatest possible ease of perception. Chapter 1 and the beginning of each subsequent chapter — contain the basic theoretical provisions necessary for understanding the meaning of the sutras. Chapters 2—5 — correspond to chapters 1—4 of Patanjali’s sutras and successively cover the methods of yoga, its program, results achieved and goals realized. The sequence of the sutras is determined by their logical relationship and differs from the original text.

I hope that this work will help to understand more deeply the path of Spiritual Development intended for a person by the Higher Powers, to realize its value and to move to purposeful development — to reveal all the powers and abilities inherent in each person.

Chapter 1. THE KEY TO THE SCRAMBLER

1. The energetic structure of man

Man is a special being, endowed with great opportunities for development, which are given to him for the realization of his destiny. Man’s destiny is to become an assistant of the Creator through Development, Knowledge and Service. A human being consists of consciousness, energy, body and external systems.

Consciousness — the main part of a human being, containing about 42% of all his energies, designed for thinking and controlling human manifestations through the perception of energy and information, their storage, processing and creation of controlling influences. Consciousness — consists of chakras, flows, channels and a number of other systems.

Energetics — the next most important part of a human being, containing about 20% of all his energies and intended for realization of consciousness commands, accumulation of energy and energization of the body. Energetics — consists of shells, energy systems of free energies, its flows and channels.

Body — the physical part of a human being, containing about 8% of all his energies and intended for interaction with the material world through realization of consciousness commands. Body — allows consciousness and energy to accumulate large amounts of energy, which is the basis for rapid development.

External systems — temporary additional systems of a person (capsule and spirit), given to him by Karma for the possibility of development and life on Earth. Capsule — contains about 20% of all human energies and is intended for communication with Karma and the subtle world. Spirit — gives connection with God, Cosmos and contains 10% of human energies.

2. The structure of consciousness

Chakras are the basic units of consciousness that realize all its most important functions (perception, processing, control through the creation and analysis of thoughts, images, sensations and working energies. Streams — serve to transmit working energies (realization), and channels — to transmit thoughts (control).

Consciousness — consists of 12 main chakras and other systems, which are divided into 4 blocks: consciousness proper, subconsciousness, superconsciousness and general consciousness. General consciousness — is connected at work of all other blocks and consists of chakras of essence (individual features) and 13th world (struggle, Good and Evil).

Consciousness proper — responsible for the formation of the other blocks of consciousness, their management, conscious perception and thinking. This block consists of the spiritual chakra (perception), intellect (thinking), ajna (strengthening of commands), systems of self-infusion (creation of energy and images) and concentration (their transfer).

Subconscious — responsible for the automatic realization of the basic functions of consciousness and consists of Muladhara, Svadhisthana, Manipura, Anahata and Vishudha. Superconsciousness is responsible for the highest levels of thinking, human connection with God (atman), the Cosmos and the subtle world (sahasrara).

Spiritual being — a special part of consciousness formed around the spark of God and directly connected with the Absolute, it is primarily responsible for the feelings and ideals of man. Mediator — connects the Spiritual Being with the rest of consciousness. Essence — sets the peculiarities of man and ensures the adaptation of his soul to the Earth.

3. Mind control

Management of consciousness — calling of manifestations necessary for a person, which is achieved through conscious or automatic control of its systems with the help of logical, figurative and volitional commands. Human development — implies cognition of one’s inner world and increase of abilities to manage it.

Self-inspiration systems — are specially designed for creation of images and working energies in large volumes from elementary particles (primary elements and quanta) dialed by the main chakras. Concentration systems — are responsible for delivery of created images and working energies to the object of influence.

Logical commands — a mental pronunciation of a phrase that reflects the meaning of the desired effect. These commands — include intelligence (the meaning of the impact, the flow of thoughts to the chakras corresponding to the command) and systems of logical self-injury (working energies with the program of impact).

Figurative commands — representation of required influences and their results. These commands — include the spiritual chakra and through it the systems of figurative self-injury (form of influence, images — energy constructions that exert force and controlling influence on objects).

Volitional commands — control of attention and investment of volitional efforts in creation of required influences. These commands include ajna and, through it, concentration systems (power of created images and flows of working energies, their direction to the object and their retention in a given mode).

4. Effects on consciousness

This world is created by the will of God and is subject to the action of physical, energetic and spiritual laws. Physical laws describe the interaction of material objects, energetic laws describe the interaction of energies, spiritual laws describe the rules of interaction of beings with themselves, other beings and the surrounding world.

The subtle world of the Earth consists of its shells, systems, egregors and hierarchies of beings. This world is largely created for human life and development through positive and negative influences on him at the level of fate, individual situations, influences of egregors, beings and others.

Destiny — is determined by external (personal life, environment, work) and internal (level of development, feeling of happiness) self-realization of a person. Initial destiny — is determined by Karma according to the level and results of a person’s previous activities. Realizable destiny — depends on the person himself.

Egregors, informational and energetic spaces — affect a person mainly for his thoughts (perceptions). In this case, adequate perceptions (corresponding to the laws of the Creator) — give positive energy and information connections, inadequate — negative connections, blocks, etc.

Beings, including people, on the energy level — affect a person, mainly for his manifestations (realized thoughts). Thus positive manifestations — give feelings, energy and positive consequences, and negative manifestations — negative connections, magic and negative consequences.

5. Development of consciousness

Development of consciousness — increase of its abilities (internal realization) and possibilities (external realization), which is achieved through cognition, accumulation of energy, development techniques and external activity. Types of abilities are spiritual, intellectual, energetic and general.

Cognition is an activity aimed at forming one’s perceptions, spiritual (perception, recognition) and intellectual (processing, decision-making) abilities to work with information. Cognition is based on logic (rules of evaluation and inference) and practice (confirmation and initial information).

Adequate cognition — leads to purification, structuring and direction of consciousness. Cleansing — replacing negative programs (thoughts) with positive ones. Structuring — combining separate perceptions into a consistent whole. Directionality — choosing clearly defined goals and values.

Adequate cognition — automatically changes the work of consciousness and the influences on it. Cleansing removes magic, negative connections and blocks. Structuring — makes consciousness whole, active and controllable. Directionality — determines the patrons and the main sources of energy.

Energy accumulation — increasing its volume and improving its quality, which is achieved through adequate cognition, purposeful recruitment of energy, its conservation and rational use. Energy development (opening of systems, state management, psychic abilities, etc.) — is based on energy accumulation.

Chapter 2: YOGA’S ORDINANCE (Concentration. Its spiritual significance)

1. Thinking structures and memory

Everything that exists is Energy. Therefore, all information (thoughts, images and sensations) with which the consciousness works are energy constructions. Thoughts — coded representation of meaning in the form of chains of elementary particles. Images — representation of form, quality, etc. in the form of energy matrices.

Thought structures are the most complex elements of consciousness, forming the first major part of any chakra. These structures form the thinking system of the chakra, designed to process thoughts and images, control memory and all systems through the creation of thoughts, images and working energies.

Memory is the second main part of any chakra, designed for recording, storing, reproducing images and creating working energies on their basis. Memory is divided into external (visual, auditory, etc.) and internal (emotions, states, feelings and other manifestations of the inner world of a person).

Feelings — give information about the influences of the surrounding world and the state of the consciousness, energy and body systems of a person. At the same time, internal sensations are caused by entering into the corresponding systems of workers (the process is switched off by thought structures) or any other energies.

State — the final mode of work of consciousness, energy, body and external systems of a person, perceived through the direction of thinking and the sum of sensations as a whole. State — can be controlled by human will through activation of some and calming of other thought structures.

2. Manifestations of consciousness

Manifestations of consciousness — any movement of its energies, causing positive, negative or neutral consequences for a person. At that, internal manifestations of consciousness are correct knowledge, incorrect knowledge, recognition, indistinction, memory and sleep (Sut. 5, 6).

Correct knowledge — perceptions based on logic, personal experience, evidence of authority and corresponding to spiritual, energetic and material laws. Recognition — the ability to fix various manifestations and to put them in accordance with the correct meaning (thoughts, perceptions) (Sut. 7).

Incorrect knowledge (delusion) — perceptions that do not correspond to the laws in force and are created through non-discernment or taking on faith erroneous statements. Non-discernment — failure to verify the correctness of representations, fixing manifestations and (or) giving them a distorted meaning (Sut. 8, 9).

Memory — can be consciously used to analyze recorded situations, recall previously experienced states and for other purposes. Memory — automatically influences the consciousness through the transmission to it under certain conditions of images, evocation of stable reactions, states, etc. (Sut. 11). (Sut. 11).

Sleep — divided into fast and slow sleep, is a special state of consciousness. Slow sleep — corresponds to the exit of the soul (most of the consciousness) from the body and its life in the subtle world. Fast sleep — corresponds to the temporary return of the soul to the body for its energization (Sut. 10).

3. Focusing

The normal human condition — has the following main characteristics: 1. Attention is almost entirely fixed on the manifestations of the surrounding world. 2. Purposeful control of consciousness and subconsciousness is absent. 3. The subconscious mind works chaotically, giving the person desires and emotions (Sut. 4).

Focusing is a state of consciousness characterized by the following: 1. Attention is directed to the object of concentration and control of the inner world. 2. Management of consciousness involves controlling its work and creating control commands. 3. Subconsciousness is completely controlled or disconnected from consciousness (Sut. 1, 2).

Concentration and activity in this state is the basis of yoga because it allows you to know your inner world and learn to control it. This is the spiritual significance of concentration. The ability to enter this state is achieved by programming the mind and special exercises (Sut. 2, 3, 12).

Programming of consciousness — formation of representations satisfying the requirements: 1. Dominance of spiritual values over material values. 2. Subordination of all manifestations to one’s will and life goals. This allows — to perceive consciousness, to control it and not to depend on external influences (Sut. 5, 16, 20).
