A Morning in My Life

My Busy Monday

My Favorite Day of the Week

My name is Emily, and I want to tell you about my favorite day of the week. My favorite day is Friday.

I like Friday because it is the last school day of the week. When I wake up on Friday morning, I feel happy.

«Today is Friday!» I say to myself.

I wake up at 7:00 a.m. and get ready for school. I wash my face, brush my teeth, and get dressed. I usually wear my favorite clothes on Friday.

«You look nice today,» my mother says.

«Thank you,» I answer.

In the kitchen, I eat breakfast with my family. I have cereal and tea.

«Are you excited for today?» my father asks.

«Yes, I am,» I say. «It’s Friday!»

At school, I have my favorite lessons. I like English and art. In English class, we read stories and speak a lot.

In art class, we draw and paint. I enjoy it very much.

«Let’s go for a walk,» I say.

We talk, laugh, and enjoy the fresh air. I feel relaxed and happy.

In the evening, I spend time with my family. We have dinner together and talk about our week.

«A little,» I answer. «I can do it later.»

After dinner, I watch a movie or listen to music. Sometimes I read a book. I don’t go to bed early because I don’t need to wake up early on Saturday.

«You should not stay up too late,» my father says.

«Okay,» I say, but sometimes I stay up anyway.

My First Day at a New School
