Kitten Mark is upset

Cat Mila was sitting in the shadow of a sprawling oak and knitting a fluffy scarf for the winter, when her kitten ran up to her.

Mark was playing on the playground, warming up under the rays of the gentle sun. He brought his toys and put them all in the sandbox to share with other kittens. After all, playing with somebody else’s molds, shovels, and figurines is much more interesting and fun than with your own.

Suddenly Mark picked up all his belongings and ran up to his mom, holding a bag in his hands. His little face was very sad. It seemed he was about to cry.

— My dear, do you want to go home already? I can see that you are upset. Did something happen?, — the mother-cat asked worriedly.

— I’ve put all my toys in the sandbox, but when I was picking them up I noticed that somebody had broken my car. Its wheel has fallen off and doesn’t stay on anymore. I got really sad. I left so the others wouldn’t think I’m a crybaby. That’s it, I’m never sharing my toys again.

— Yes, you’re right, the car really is broken. I understand that you’re upset. It happens. I think the other kitten broke it by accident. Maybe he even got scared and upset himself because this happened. Don’t forget that your toys break even at home, especially when you tinker with them to see how they work by unscrewing and deconstructing. Isn’t that right?

— Yes, mom.
