He previously worked for a few years as a production designer at the «Strana» film studio. Michael Ouzikov authored several books, the last of which «Kuluangwa» was published by «Armchair-scientist» and «The House that Mike Built» by Ultrakultura/U-Factory/AST

Michael Ouzikov, Russian writer, designer and artist, graduated from the Ural State University of Architecture and Art (1990) and the University of Liverpool (1992), carrently lives and works in Shanghai, Toronto, Moscow, and Amsterdam. Michael worked for a few years as production designer at the “Strana” Film Studio, Euro-Asia Cinema Corporation and as a publicist has worked with the following publications: “Dock”, “Move” and “Architect”.
