Cleansing
Salting
I really love salt. It’s a powerful thing for me — in the morning, while in the shower, I sprinkle a little salt on my feet and say a prayer three times. Any prayer you remember will do.
If you have time, pour coarse table salt into the bath (500–900 g) and lie back in the tub for 20–30 minutes. The cleansing for body and spirit is amazing! I don’t take the bath every day, but if I’ve had an unpleasant conversation or someone was unkind during the day, I always do it in the evening. Try it yourself!
You can also «salt» your feet every morning: it works both as a cleanse and as a simple protection.
Road-Clearing Purification Ritual (for the full moon)
If things aren’t working out for you — at work or in relationships — this ritual can help. It should be performed at night, during the waning moon.
Fill a deep bowl with water and light any candle. Whisper the following charm three times, with your lips almost touching the water’s surface:
«Water, little water, stern queen. You dry and wash, you break the stones. Clean my paths, give me help. As the moon wanes, so remove all obstacles from me. Amen!».

This is an old, proven method. Take a vow for a month — it’s best to give up alcohol and coffee. It’s even better if you can start during the Christmas week: the body is tired from overeating, and giving up certain foods will do you good.</div>
