the Lilly in the

Land of Fantasy

(I)

Lilly hopped through the woodland glade,

Her heart aglow with pure delight,

When she saw a wondrous thing, forbade,

A portal, glowing, shining bright.

Without a thought, she leapt headfirst,

Into the portal’s mystic light,

And found herself in worlds accursed,

A fairyland, so full of sight.

She saw strange creatures, beasts untamed,

And dwarfs, with bushy beards aglow,

And unicorns, so proud and famed,

And mermaids, basking in their flow.

She walked on through the waving trees,

With flowers of all colors sprung,

She felt the dew upon her knees,

And heard the sweet bird’s siren song.

As she wandered, she discovered

Whole new worlds, a wonderland,

And she felt so lucky, so favored,

To see such wondrous sights firsthand.

Lilly knew this place was magic,

A new world, a treasure trove,

And she was sure to make it stick,

With all the pearls of love she hadrove.

(II)

Lilly wandered through the fairyland,

Over hills and dales, so grand,

Amidst the creatures, big and small,

She found herself standing tall.

Talking trees, with branches vast,

Whispered tales from the distant past,

Unicorns, with horns so bright,

Made her heart dance with delight.

Fairies flitting all around,

Made a joyful, tinkling sound,

Hobbits, with their hairy toes,

Were curious, from their head to their nose.

The creatures came from far and wide,

Magical beings of every stride,

Lilly felt a joy inside her,

With every new friend, she grew richer.

She played with dragons, soaring high,

Rode on the back of a butterfly,

She swam with the mermaids in the sea,

And danced with the fairies, happy and free.

Each encounter brought sheer bliss,

The fairyland was a world of wonder and this,

Lilly couldn’t believe her eyes,

It was a world she’d love and cherish till the end of times.

As Lilly explored the land of magic,

She met a witch who was up to tragic,
