Аннотация

Книга состоит из упражнения на перевод рассказа, адаптированного по методике © Лингвистический Реаниматор, с английского на испанский; 2-х упражнений на чтение, перевод и пересказ неадаптированного английского и испанского варианта этого же рассказа; упражнения на перевод рассказа с русского языка. Все упражнения имеют ключи. В книге 2020 английских / испанских слов и выражений. По сложности она соответствует уровням В2 — С1. Рекомендуется широкому кругу лиц, изучающих английский и испанский.

Специальные обозначения

… — на этом месте должен стоять определённый или неопределённый артикль.

! — следует продумать, какой предлог должен стоять перед идущей далее группой слов.

* — неправильный глагол.

……… — на этом месте должен быть глагол-связка.

we (nosotros) — английское слово / его испанский эквивалент.

you (Usted) 2.read (leer) 1.it (lo) — цифры перед словами означают порядок данных слов между собой в предложении.

your (-) — данное слово не нужно переводить на испанский язык.

white houses (casa.. blanco..) — следует изменить род и / или число.

went (ir..) — нужно изменить форму глагола.

Переведите рассказ на испанский язык.

Part 1. Meteocrap-3030

In 3028 (en 3028), a meteorite (...meteorito) fell to Earth (caer.. a …Tierra).

It was the one that (ser.. él que), according to official sources (según fuentes oficiales), brought to the planet (traer.. a ...planeta) a terrible «gift» (…terrible «regalo»),

which was later given the name (que más tarde recibir.. ...nombre)! meteovirus-3030 (meteovirus-3030), popularly called Meteocrap (popularmente llamado Porquería de Meteovirus).

The virus (ese virus) carried with it (conllevar) the threat of annihilation (...amenaza de exterminar)! of the whole of humanity (toda ...humanidad), acting, however, very selectively (sin embargo, actuar.. de manera muy selectiva),

in the sense that (en ...sentido de que) it clearly worsened and even killed or, on the contrary, improved some people (claramente empeorar.. o incluso matar..! algunos, o por ...contrario, mejorar..! alguien),

endowing with not typical previously positive human qualities (dotarle de cualidades humanas positivas previamente ausentes), and in the meantime (mientras tanto), it completely ignored (y completamente dejar.. de lado)! some persons (otros).

Well, what it even means, it ignored (pues,¿cómo es de lado?).

Of course (por supuesto), they were carriers of that infection (ser.. portadores! esa infección), but at the same time (pero al mismo tiempo) they did not have any symptoms (no tener.. síntomas), nevertheless being dangerous to others (sin embargo, representar.. ...peligro para ...demás).

For that very reason (por esa misma razón), 2.they were assigned (ser.. llevados) 1.along with the infected patients (ellos, junto con ...infectados,)! to special reservations (reservas especiales), unless they were caught (si se les coger.., por supuesto).

— And how exactly did that virus affect humanity (y cómo exactamente ese virus afectar..! ...humanidad)? — you may ask me a perfectly reasonable question (me poder.. hacer ...pregunta totalmente razonable).

Well (pues), it influenced everyone differently (influir..! todos de manera diferente).

Judge for yourself (juzgar.. por ti mismo).

In our house there lived (en nuestra casa vivir..), a very greedy and rude man (...señor muy codicioso y grosero) — nothing more than a pig (nada más que …cerdo).

So (así que), under the influence (bajo ...influencia)! of this Viral Crap (esa Porquería viral) he mutated into a swine (mutar.. en …cerdo) after which (después de lo cual) he was placed (ser.. colocado) in (en) a special ghetto for viral mutants (...gueto especial para mutantes virales).

And here is another case (y aquí haber.. otro caso).

In a neighboring house there lived (en ...casa vecina vivir..) a teacher of elementary grades (...maestra de primaria) — the woman was the kindest soul (...mujer ser.. ...alma generosa), though she was poor (aunque pobre).

The teacher’s salary wouldn’t exactly buy her a lot (...salario! ...maestra no alcanzar.. para comprar muchas cosas), what’s true is true (lo justo es lo justo).

Nevertheless (sin embargo), she always gave alms (siempre dar.. limosna)! to the poor (…pobres) at the church (a …iglesia), and helped everyone around (y les ayudar..! todos).

She also mutated (también mutar..), got supernormal abilities from the virus (...virus le dar.. habilidades sobrenaturales), made an important scientific discovery (ella hacer.. ...importante descubrimiento científico),

after which (después de lo cual) she received the Nobel Prize (recibir.. ...Premio Nobel) with the other regalia (con …otras insignias) in addition (por añadidura), and moved to live (y se mudar.. a vivir) in a suburban mansion (a ...mansión suburbana).

Spacesuits

It was 3030 (ser.. 3030), there was a late hot spring outside (hacer.. calor de plena primavera fuera), and there was practically no soul in sight in the streets (y prácticamente no haber.. ni un alma en la calle) —

at times, here and there (a veces, aquí y allá) appeared (pasar) a couple of people in spacesuits (par de personas en escafandras) or (o) a lady taking the dog out for a walk (alguna dama sacar..! su perro para ...paseo), and that’s it (y eso ser.. todo).

Well, what’s the point of (pues, ¿cuál ser.. el punto de) wearing a spacesuit (llevar ...traje espacial) in this heat (con ese calor)?

It’s cooler at home (en casa hacer.. más fresco) and special uniforms are not required there (y no se requerir.. uniformes especiales).

— Why did they go outside in spacesuits (por qué salir.. con escafandras)? — you may ask (poder.. preguntarme).

Since the law obliged them to that (Pues, porque …ley les obligar.. a eso).

2.Self-isolation and spacesuits were imosed (…Tierra introducir.. autoaislamiento y escafandras) 1.because of the meteovirus crap (debido a Porquería de Meteovirus) all over the world (-).

The fine was supposed for walking outside without a spacesuit (se imponer.. ...multa por caminar sin traje espacial).

By the way (a propósito), the spacesuits were not imposed immediately (...escafandras no se introducir.. de inmediato), at first (al principio) they had made do with (se las arreglar.. con) masks and gloves (máscaras y guantes) for a whole year (durante todo un año).

However (sin embargo), such a half measure (ese paliativo) was clearly not enough (ser.. claramente insuficiente), because (porque) more and more people (cada vez más personas) got infected (se poner.. enfermas).

Clear business (obviamente), people did not like walkung in spacesuits (a la gente no le gustar.. llevar escafandras).

And what were they to do (y qué poder.. hacer)?

The law is the law (…ley ser.. …ley), and a fine is a fine (y ...multa ser.. ...multa:) — if you want it to get paid (si querer.. pagar), walk without a spacesuit (ir.. sin ...traje espacial),

but be ready to lose twenty bucks for such a hooliganism (pero prepárate para sacar 20 pavos por este gamberrismo), on giving them to the state treasury (y ponerlos en …tesorería de ...estado).

Oh, how many different rumors were there among ordinary people about that Meteocrap (ah, cuantos diferentes rumores sobre Porquería de Meteovirus haber.. entre ...gente común).

It is only possible to be amazed, marveling at the variety of versions, by what people invented themselves (que cosas se inventar.. algunas personas a sí mismas, solo se poder.. sorprender, maravillando por ...variedad de versiones).

Judge for yourself (juzgar.. por ti mismo).

Hikki Komori

One Friday morning (...viernes por la mañana), Hikki Komori (Jikki Komori) went (ir), as always (como siempre), to take out the trash (a sacar ...basura).

Oh, no, sure, he went out later (no, eso pasar.. más tarde), but first, naturally (primero, desde luego), he had put on the spacesuit (se poner.. ...escafandra).

And afterwards (y después), when he had already taken out the garbage (cuando ya sacar.. ...basura), he sat down at the table (se sentar.. a ...mesa) and composed the following verse (y escribir.. ...siguiente poema):

Гуляя к мусорному баку,

Я думу думал так свою:

Что нужно б выгулять собаку,

А после в магазин пойду.

Скопились люди у помойки

И, обсуждая карантин,

Один товарищ да с размаху

Другому в ухо угодил,

Так как идей не разделял тот

По поводу и в части, де

Метеовирусной заразы

Не существует на Земле.

А коль её не существует,

Зачем в скафандре ты, урод,

Безскафандрических пугаешь,

И стариков всех, идиот?

Here I must somewhat clarify the situation (aquí deber.. aclarar un poco ...situación) described above (descrita anteriormente).

The fact is that (el hecho es que) over the two years of the existence of that Viral Crap on Earth (durante los dos años de existencia de esa Porquería Viral en …Tierra), the opinions of the earthlings (…opiniones de …terrícolas) were divided (se dividir..) like this (así).

Someone believed that (alguien creer.. que) the infection existed (esa infección existir..) and had flown in a meteorite (y volar.. en ...meteorito); someone believed that (alguien creer.. que) Crap had been specially developed (Porquería se desarrollar.. especialmente)

in a secret military laboratory (en ...laboratorio militar secreto), and then (y luego) put into action (se poner.. en acción) in order to (para) minimize the world’s population (minimizar …población mundial).

Others believed that (otros creer.. que) it had been fictionalised (ser.. ficcionalizada) by (por) the International Government (…Gobierno Internacional) to conceal some major economic and political frauds (para ocultar algunos fraudes económicos y políticos importantes).

Well (bueno), so many men, so many minds, in fact (sabes lo que dicen sobre las opiniones, ¿verdad?).

Thus (por lo tanto), some people were very afraid of Viral Crap (algunas personas tener.. mucho miedo a Porquería), and therefore (y por eso) bought specialized multi-valve spacesuits (se comprar.. trajes especializados de varias válvulas)

that costed fabulous money (que costar.. ...montón de dinero), but guaranteed absolute protection (pero garantizar.. ...protección absoluta).

Those who (aquellos que) considered the crap (considerar.. Porquería) a bacteriological weapon (...arma bacteriológica) also preferred such type of protection (también preferr.. ese tipo de protección).

And those who (y los que) did not believe in its existence (no creer.. en su existencia) in principle (en principio), preferred to hide from the police (preferir.. esconderse de …policía)

or (o) in a pinch (en última instancia) pay the fines (pagar multas), but defiantly (pero desafiantemente) walk without spacesuits (caminar sin trajes espaciales).

Therefore (por eso), they were nicknamed (ser.. apodados) «spacesuitless dudes» («desescafandrados»).

Laid-back persons

In the second year (En el segundo año)! of Meteocrap’s existence (…existencia de Porquería), another caste appeared (aparecer.. otra casta) among the spacesuitless dudes (entre ...desescafandrados:), they were the spacesuitless laid-back persons (eran desescafandrados libres de ansiedad).

They believed in its existence (сreer.. en su existencia), but they deliberately (pero deliberadamente) went outside (salir.. a la calle) without protection (sin protección), wanting to check (querer.. comprobar) how that Crap would affect them (cómo les afectar.. esa Porquería).

Some of them (algunos de ellos) were actually lucky (ser.. realmente afortunados:) — the lucky ones turned into (se convirtir.. en) talented artists, painters and writers (artistas, pintores y escritores talentosos),

many of them (muchos) on the same wave (con la misma ola) were able to significantly increase their wealth (poder.. aumentar significativamente su bienestar), but there were also tragic cases (pero también haber.. casos trágicos).

— Like last week (así, la semana pasada), a newly-made spacesuitless laid-back dude (desescafandrado libre de ansiedad recién hecho) who had considered himself (que se considerar..) practically sinless (prácticamente sin pecado),

and therefore (y, por lo tanto) invulnerable to Crap (invulnerable a Porquería), caught the infection (atrapar.. ...infección) and mutated into (y se mutar.. en) a talking parrot (…loro parlante).

Well (bueno), at least into a talking one (al menos a un parlante).

He was just lucky (considérase afortunado)! — Old Rey shared the news with (Viejo Rey compartir.. ...noticia con) his neighbor (su vecino).

— For sure, lucky (por supuesto, afortunado).

Eh, all the same (eh, de todos modos), the spacesuitless dudes (...gente desescafandrada) are reckless, young and too self-confident (estar.. loca, joven y demasiado testaruda).

I believe that (creer.. que) this Meteocrap (esta Porquería Meteorológica) is endowed with universe consciousness and intellect (estar.. dotada de conciencia cósmica e intelecto), since (ya que) it acts so selectively (actuar.. de manera tan selectiva). — the interlocutor assumed (asumió el interlocutor).

— You reason correctly (tener.. razón), it is so (es así), it judges us (nos juzgar..) in its own way (a su manera), not from an earthly point of view (no desde un punto de vista terrenal), but from the universe one (sino desde un punto de vista cósmico),

and this way (y así) it decides (y decidir..) who will deserve respect and laurels of fame (quienes merecer.. ...respeto y ...laureles de …fama), and who will mutate into (y quienes mutar.. en) living creatures of the lower species (criaturas vivientes de ...especies inferiores).

— It’s for sure (es seguro), it looks at us, taking a wretchedly selfish point of view (nos mirar.. por la compañía que tiene), from the position of the universe consciousness (desde la posición de la mente cósmica),

but in some cases (pero en algunos casos) it is impossible (ser… imposible) to disagree with it (estar en desacuerdo con ella).

Do you remember (recordar) what has happened to our house manager … (caso de nuestro gerente del edificio)?

— Yes, you never forget something like that (sí, ¡no te olvidas de eso, por supuesto).

The poor fellow (…pobre tipo) was unlucky to mutate into (tener.. mala suerte de mutar en) a bedbug (una chinche).

Well, but I suppose (pero, suponer..), it serves him right (se lo tiene merecido) — for so many years (durante tantos años) he has been ripping off the last money (seguir.. estafando el último dinero) from all residents (a todos los residntes)! of the microdistrict (…microdistrito)

for the overhauls (para ...reparaciones capitales) that no one has ever seen (que nadie ver..), and even pocketting the margin from gardening (e incluso embolsandose los márgenes de la reverdecimiento)!

— Yeah (sí, sí,), and in numbers that margin came out with six zeros (y en su equivalente numérico esos márgenes salieron con seis ceros).

— Besides (y, además), remember (recordaar), at the very beginning (desde un principio), when people were staying without any money (sin dinero) in quarantine (en cuarentena), he began (comenzar a) to change curbs, tiles and asphalt (cambiar bordillos, azulejos y asfalto) in the district (en el distrito)?

That is (es decir), he was engaged in money laundering (e dedicar.. al lavado de dinero) instead of (en lugar de) simply distributing it to people (simplemente repartirlo a la gente)! — to the local residents (...residentes locales).

Filthy bloodsucker (asqueroso chupasangre), rightly so (se lo tiene merecido)!

Gossip

The next day (al día siguiente), Hikki set off again (Jikki salir.. de nuevo) to take out the trash (para sacar ...basura).

While walking to the dumpster (mientras caminar.. hacia ...basurero) he heard a lot of new and interesting information (escuchó y vio muchas cosas nuevas).

For example (por ejemplo), passing by the bench (pasar.. por una banca) where (donde) some old ladies in spacesuits (...ancianas en escafandras) were sharing the latest news (compartir.. …últimas noticias), he caught the following (escuchar.. ...siguiente información):

— This meteovirus (este meteovirus) is not a meteovirus at all (no ser ...meteovirus en absoluto), but some kind of cover (sino una tapadera), it’s preparation for universal vaccination (ser.. preparación para ...vacunación universal), which should turn into universal chipization (que después se convertir.. en ...chipización universal).

The chips will be brought to us (...chips nos ser.. vacunados) under the guise of (bajo la apariencia de) a Meteocrap infection vaccine (vacuna contra esta Porquería), after which (después de lo cual) we all (todos) have come under the total control (quedar.. bajo ...control total)! of Big Brother (...Gran Hermano).

— Wow (wow), — he thought (pensar). — But we have already been under the control (pero, parece que ya todos quedar.. bajo el control), for a couple of centuries (empezando desde el siglo XX), ever since the time when (desde que) all the earthlings (todos …terrícolas) had got their smartphones (obtener.. ...teléfonos inteligentes).

He moved on (seguir.. adelante).

Two spacesuitless neighbors (dos vecinas sin escafandras) were walking toward him (caminar.. a su encuentro), they greeted (se saludar..), and a moment later (y un momento después) he heard (escuchar) behind his back (a sus espaldas):

There is a spacesuit regimen, but there are no spacesuits, nevertheless there is a way out
