Sofia was a cheerful little girl with a big heart. On her fourth birthday, her parents gave her a special gift. It was a beautiful goldfish named Amelia. Sofia was so excited to have a new friend. She promised to take good care of Amelia. Little did she know, Amelia was no ordinary goldfish. Amelia could talk!

Chapter #2

One morning, Sofia was feeding Amelia. Suddenly, she heard a tiny voice say «Thank you.» Sofia looked around, confused. «Down here!» said the voice. Sofia’s eyes widened as she saw Amelia speaking. «You can talk?» Sofia asked in amazement. «Yes, I can,» replied Amelia with a smile.

Chapter #3

Sofia and Amelia quickly became best friends. They talked about everything. Sofia told Amelia about her day at preschool. Amelia shared stories about the underwater world. They laughed and had so much fun together. Sofia loved having a friend who could talk to her.

Chapter #4

Sofia learned how to take care of Amelia. She made sure to feed her the right amount of food. She cleaned Amelia’s tank regularly. Sofia also learned to be gentle and patient. Taking care of Amelia taught Sofia responsibility. She felt proud of herself.
