Chapter #1

One sunny morning, Julian had a big idea. He wanted to bake cookies! He ran to his mom and said, “Mom, can we bake cookies today?” His mom smiled and said, “Of course, Julian!” They gathered all the ingredients from the kitchen. Julian was so excited he could hardly wait. He knew this was going to be a fun adventure.

Chapter #2

Julian and his mom made a list of ingredients. They needed flour, sugar, butter, and eggs. Julian also wanted to add chocolate chips. They went to the pantry and gathered everything they needed. Julian carried the eggs very carefully. He didn’t want to drop them! Mom helped him with the heavy bag of flour.

Chapter #3

Julian and his mom started mixing the dough. First, they put the butter and sugar in a big bowl. Julian took a wooden spoon and began to stir. It was hard work, but he didn’t give up. His mom cracked the eggs and added them to the bowl. Julian’s arms got tired, so his mom took over for a bit. The dough was starting to look really good.

Chapter #4

Now it was time to add the flour. Julian tried to pour it in slowly. But oops! The flour spilled all over the counter. Julian looked at his mom with big eyes. She laughed and said, “It’s okay, Julian. Mistakes happen!” They cleaned up the flour together. Then they added the rest of the flour to the bowl.
