I See. Therefore, I Live
«I See. Therefore, I Live» is a book of awakening.
A guide along the subtle path of returning to yourself.
It does not offer quick fixes or universal formulas.
Instead, it gives back to you the most precious tool you have always carried within, but may have long forgotten to use: inner vision.
This is not sight with the eyes.
It is the ability to sense, to recognize, to discern.
It is the quiet knowing that lives beneath the layers of noise, fear, and the weight of others’ expectations.
It is a voice that can only be heard in silence — yet it knows with certainty where to go.
In this book, you will journey:
• from living on «autopilot» to living with awareness and meaning,
• from rational control to trusting your body and intuition,
• from fearing the truth to embracing it, even when it feels uncomfortable,
• from harshness toward yourself to gentle presence and love,
• from being a mere observer of life to becoming its co-creator.

Introduction
«I See. Therefore, I Live» is a book of awakening.
A guide along the subtle path of returning to yourself.
It does not offer quick fixes or universal formulas.
Instead, it returns to you the most precious tool you have always carried within, but may have long forgotten to use: inner vision.
This is not vision through the eyes.
It is the ability to feel, to recognize, to discern.
It is the quiet knowing that lives beneath layers of noise, fear, and the weight of others’ expectations.
It is a voice that can only be heard in silence — yet it knows with certainty where to go.
In this book, you will journey:
— from living on «autopilot» to living with awareness and meaning,
— from rational control to trusting your body and intuition,
— from fearing the truth to embracing it, even when it feels uncomfortable,
— from harshness toward yourself to gentle presence and love,
— from being a mere observer of life to becoming its co-creator.
Each chapter is a living encounter:
— with your authentic self,
— with the pain you’ve been hiding,
— with the body that remembers,
— with the soul that has been waiting,
— with the truth that does not destroy, but liberates.
Here you will find:
— metaphorical stories in which you will recognize yourself,
— precise words that feel as if they were written about you,
— practices and questions that help you stop «being the old you,»
— and those inner «clicks» after which movement begins.
This book does not ask you to be «better.» It asks you to be alive.
Without masks. Without defenses. Without noise.
And in this lies its true power.
«I See. Therefore, I Live» is a book for those ready to stop hiding.
For those who sense that behind the outer façade there is something more.
For those who want not only to understand — but to live. And to learn to see not with the eyes, but with the heart.
«I See. Therefore, I Live» is a path of awakening, told through the metaphor of an all-seeing eye in the palm.
It is a book about returning to yourself, about the ability to see not with the eyes, but with the heart, with intuition, with inner knowing.
About how to stop living by patterns, led by fear or others’ expectations, and begin to act from a genuine sense of life.
The author gently guides the reader through chapters of insight: stories, revelations, pauses of silence, practices.
This is not just a book — it is a mirror you look into to remember: you are more than you think you are.
Within each of us there already exists an «eye» that sees the truth. The question is whether we will allow ourselves to look.
Who this book is for:
— those going through an inner crisis or who feel they are «losing themselves,»
— those who sense they are living a life that is not truly theirs,
— those who want to restore contact with intuition, body, and soul,
— those on a spiritual or psychological path of awakening.
Key themes:
— Mindfulness as a way of life
— Intuition as an inner compass
— The inner observer and shadow work
— Acceptance of truth about oneself
— Awakening of sensitivity and trust in the world
Book format:
Each chapter is a step on the journey of returning to yourself:
1. A story or personal experience
2. Reflection (questions, meanings, archetypes)
3. A practice — written, embodied, or meditative
4. A conclusion — an aphorism, an insight, or a «vision»
Chapter 1. False Vision
«You do not see — you remember.»
Story
When we look at the world, we believe we are seeing it.
But in truth — we are not seeing what is, we are seeing what has already been.
Images, filters, expectations, traumas, judgments — all of these shape our «vision.»
We look through the glass of the past.
A woman once abandoned by her partner now «sees» betrayal in every man.
A child who was criticized grows up to «see» themselves as never enough.
We do not notice that we are not seeing — we are remembering pain and projecting it.
This is false vision — it is not real.
It is not the present you; it is the wounded you.
And until you recognize this glass, you will mistake illusion for reality.
Reflection: What is False Vision?
— It is a gaze through fixed beliefs: «all men are the same,» «I can’t do it,» «the world is dangerous.»
—
— It is perception through past experience that has not been released.
—
— It is reaction, when you do not see the person but only the image — your ex, your father, your offender.
—
— It is interpretation, where feelings are not verified, and the moment is replaced with projection.
—
We do not live in the present — we live inside a script.
Vision becomes distorted, like looking through cloudy glass.
Signs of False Vision
— Repeating life scenarios
—
— Intense emotional reactions to «harmless» events
—
— Judgment before observation
—
— Frequent feelings of guilt, resentment, fear, or insecurity without obvious cause
—
— An inner dialogue that echoes voices from the past
—
Practice: «Clear the Glass»
— Recall a moment in your life that triggered a sharp reaction.
— Something that touched you deeply, upset you, or wounded you — it doesn’t have to be significant.
—
— Write down what you felt, what you «saw» in the person or situation.
— For example: «He doesn’t respect me,» «Once again, I am not needed by anyone.»
—
— Ask yourself: is this vision or memory?
—
— How do I know this?
—
— Who treated me this way before?
—
— Who does this remind me of?
—
— Take a breath and say aloud:
— I am not seeing now. I am seeing then. I choose to look again.
—
— Revisit the situation as if you were seeing it for the very first time.
—
— Without the past. Without accusation.
—
— What do you actually see?
—
Quote of the Chapter
«Truth always remains silent while you are staring at projections.»
Chapter 2. The Blinded Mind
«Sometimes what seems like reason is just fear dressed in logic»
Story
Raisa is a brilliant professional, an analyst, used to checking and calculating everything. She learned not to trust feelings, because in childhood it was «shameful» to cry, and «silly» to rejoice. Her life is neatly arranged, but inside she has long felt empty.
When asked, «What do you want?» she cannot answer. Because her mind has become her prison. It does not let her go deeper. It says: «This is irrational. This is wrong. This is dangerous.»
The mind blinds when it is the only one in charge. This is not intelligence — it is security.
It does not help, it defends. It does not create, it blocks.
It does not see — it fears.
Analysis: How the mind can blind us
— Logic becomes armor.
— We deny feelings because they are illogical.
—
— Control replaces trust.
— We fear losing control, and therefore reject impulse, intuition, the unknown.
—
— Reality is reduced to «what can be proven.»
— Everything that cannot be explained is discarded.
—
When the mind is not connected with the heart, body, and soul — it becomes a blind leader.
It does not lead us to truth, it leads us away from pain. But by not seeing the pain, we also fail to see ourselves.
Examples of the blinded mind:
— «It’s not profitable to get involved in this» — though the soul is drawn there.
—
— «I must not suffer» — though the pain is already present and wants to be acknowledged.
—
— «I must be strong» — and so I ignore exhaustion.
