Chapter #1

Once upon a time, there was a little mouse named Elizabeth. Elizabeth was very curious and loved to explore. She lived in a big forest with her family. One sunny morning, Elizabeth decided to go on an adventure. She wanted to find a new place to call home. She said goodbye to her family and set off on her journey. Elizabeth was excited but also a little scared.

Elizabeth walked through the forest, admiring the tall trees and colorful flowers. She saw birds flying high in the sky and heard the buzzing of bees. Everything was so new and exciting to her. She found a little stream and stopped to take a drink. The water was cool and refreshing. Elizabeth felt happy and free. She wondered what other wonders she would find.

As Elizabeth continued her journey, she met a friendly squirrel named Sammy. Sammy was gathering acorns for the winter. Elizabeth introduced herself and they quickly became friends. Sammy showed Elizabeth the best places to find food. They played together and shared stories. Elizabeth was glad to have a friend on her adventure. She felt less alone and more confident.

One evening, dark clouds gathered in the sky. Elizabeth and Sammy knew a storm was coming. They found shelter under a large tree. The wind howled and the rain poured down. Elizabeth was scared, but Sammy comforted her. They huddled together and waited for the storm to pass. Elizabeth realized that having a friend made even the scariest times better.
