ПРЕДИСЛОВИЕ

Здравствуйте, уважаемые слушатели!

С вами Людмила Буkанова, лингвист-переводчик, преподаватель с 12-летним стажем со своей новой методикой обучения разговорному английскому языку. Данный аудиокурс является дополнительным материалом для тренировки в восприятии на слух информации, для преодоления барьера «слышать» английскую речь.

Данное издание ориентировано на студентов гуманитарных специальностей.

В этом курсе будет раскрыто 10 основных тем.

В начале каждой темы я буду произносить лексические единицы на английском языке с соответствующим переводом на русский язык в рамках изучаемой темы. После этого я буду произносить текст на английском языке с переводом каждого предложения на русский язык. Представленная лексика не будет в полной мере соответствовать тексту, она будет идти больше в дополнение соответствующей темы. На последнем этапе по каждой теме будет произноситься текст полностью по соответствующей теме без перевода, чтобы вы смогли услышать его целостно и сами понять смысл.

Освещение данной авторской методики произошло на основе многолетнего опыта ее использования при обучении студентов разговорному английскому языку.

К аудиозаписям прилагается материал в текстовом формате, поэтому вы сможете зрительно увидеть то, что услышали.

MY FAMILY. MY FLAT / МОЯ СЕМЬЯ. МОЯ КВАРТИРА

I and my family live in a new block of flats. Я и моя семья живем в новом многоквартирном доме.

There are twelve floors in it, that’s why there is a lift in the building. В нем 12 этажей, поэтому в здании есть лифт.

In front of the block there is a large park. Перед домом расположен большой парк.

There are a lot of trees and flowers in the park. В парке растет много деревьев и цветов.

Our block is in Gorkogo Street. Наш дом расположен на улице Горького.

Gorkogo Street is in the centre of our town. Улица Горького пролегает в центре города.

There are a lot of shops and various offices in our street. На нашей улице много магазинов и различных офисов.

Our street is very green and the air is always clean here because in front of every block there is a garden and a lot of flowers and trees. Наша улица очень зеленая и воздух здесь всегда чистый, потому что перед каждым домом есть сад, много цветов и деревьев.

Our flat is very comfortable for our large family. Наша квартира очень удобная для нашей большой семьи.

We are a large and friendly family. Мы большая и дружная семья.

There are six of us: grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, my younger sister and I. Она состоит из 6 человек: дедушка, бабушка, папа, мама, младшая сестра и я.

I have an elder sister, too, she is 22 years old. Так же у меня есть старшая сестра, ей 22 года.

But she doesn’t live with our family. Но она не живет с нашей семьей.

She is married. Она замужем.

My grandfather is a scientist. Мой дедушка — ученый.

He works at the University. Он работает в университете.

He works part-time. Он работает на полставки.

He goes to the university three times a week. Он ходит в университет три раза в неделю.

Our grandmother is retired. Наша бабушка на пенсии.

She was an economist. Она работала экономистом.

We help her about the house. Мы помогаем ей по дому.

We do all household chores. Мы делаем всю домашнюю работу

My father is a military. Мой папа военный.

He is very busy from time to time. Время от времени он очень занят.

I enjoy quiet Sunday evenings, when all the members of our friendly family are at home and nobody is in a hurry, and we quietly sit in our large and comfortable living-room, talking and joking. Я получаю удовольствие от тихих воскресных вечеров, когда все члены нашей дружной семьи дома и никто не спешит, мы спокойно сидим в нашей большой и комфортной гостиной, болтая и шутя.

There are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn and winter. В году четыре времени года: весна, лето, осень и зима.

Every season lasts three months. Каждое время года длится три месяца.

Winter usually begins in December and ends in March. Обычно зима начинается в декабре и заканчивается в марте.

Winter is the coldest season, with short days and long nights, with frosts and snow. Зима — это самое холодное время года с короткими днями и длинными ночами, с морозами и снегом.

It is a beautiful season when nature is sleeping under clean soft blanket of snow. Это красивое время года, когда природа спит под чистым мягким снежным одеялом.

In winter we can go in for such kinds of sport as skating and skiing. Зимой мы увлекаемся такими видами спорта как коньки и лыжи.

Spring comes at the end of March. Весна приходит в конце марта.

In spring nature awakens from her long winter sleep. Весной природа просыпается от своего долгого зимнего сна.

The sun begins to shine more brightly, the days become longer and the first spring flowers appear everywhere. Солнце начинает светить более ярко, дни становятся длиннее и первые весенние цветы появляются везде.

Nightingales, swallows and other migrant birds come back from the south. Соловьи, ласточки и другие перелетные птицы возвращаются с юга.

They build their nests, lay and hatch their eggs and sing their merry songs. Они строят свои гнезда, откладывают яйца и высиживают птенцов.

Summer is the warmest season of the year. Лето — это самое теплое время года.

It begins in June and ends in August. Оно начинается в июне и заканчивается в августе.

The weather is usually fine, the sky is blue and cloudless, the sun shines brightly in the sky. Погода обычно прекрасная, небо — голубое и безоблачное, солнце в небе светит ярко.

In summer we have the longest days and the shortest nights. Летом самые длинные дня и самые короткие ночи.

The rain is warm and doesn’t last long. Дождь теплый и долго не идет.

It is not pleasant to stay in town in summer, and the most people leave town for the country. Летом не очень радостно оставаться в городе, поэтому большинство людей уезжают загород.

We can swim, we can play tennis and football in summer. Летом мы можем плавать, играть в теннис и футбол.

After summer comes autumn. После лета приходит осень.

Many people say that autumn is the most beautiful season of the year. Большинство людей говорят, что осень — это самое прекрасное время года.

The ground is covered with fallen leaves. Земля покрыта опавшими листьями.

They are brown, yellow and red. Они коричневые, желтые и красные.

The season lasts from September to November. Время года длится с сентября по ноябрь.

It gets colder and colder. Становится холоднее и холоднее.

In November it is more pleasant to stay inside than to be outside. В ноябре наиболее приятно оставаться в помещении нежели на улице.

My lovely season is autumn. Мой любимый сезон — это осень.
