Dating Cafe
An unusual coffee shop appeared in a small cozy town. Some visitors run out of it with tears, and some come out with shining eyes of happiness and smiles on their faces.
The coffee shop is very cozy and warm. You feel at home. Home-made food and pastries on the menu. Ordinary hot drinks — coffee and teas of different flavors. A pleasant, kind, sociable and elderly bartender. Waiters over the age of sixty always smile and give kind and wise advice as a parting shot in life. The prices don’t bite.
But why do some guests run out in tears?
There’s a sign on the door that says “Only couples in love are allowed to enter.” And the name of the place suggests that it’s a dating cafe. Other guests are politely asked to leave and are not served.
There’s a little secret in this place. The drinks and food are filled with magic. And this magic only works within the walls of the cafe.
Everyone who comes here to eat or drink starts to tell the truth and nothing but the truth. If the lovers are using each other for their own gain and manipulating each other with a false sense of love, they will immediately admit it. They will tell each other everything they have been hiding.
If the love is real, the people who come here have never hidden anything from each other, and they have nothing to hurt each other with by telling the truth.
What is the mission of this cafe?
The universe sends each person their soulmate. But some people make the wrong choices, suffer from codependent and unhealthy relationships, torment themselves, and miss out on true love.
People are mired in self-deception and unhappy in insincere relationships. They need help in finding happiness, their own person, their soulmate.
This is where the Dating Cafe comes in.
Everyone who runs out in tears, realizing that they have spent their life with the wrong person, begins to search for love more carefully. They will not be so naive and foolish the next time. They will choose with their heart, not their hormones.
After all, many people choose their partner hastily and turn off their brains, falling into a trap. And when the heart tells you that it’s not yours, the first signs appear, but the person ignores them, digging themselves deeper into a hole.
That’s why the cafe helps those who need help to get out of the hole by telling the truth.
And those who have already found their happiness, they leave the cafe happy. After all, they have always been honest with each other and have always been happy with each other. And in the cafe, as always, they spent time together, and it was pleasant.
The truth can sting like a bee, but bee venom is a cure.
Superhero vacancy
When Vasily saw an ad in the newspaper that a superhero was needed, he thought about it. He sat on a bench in the park and read the ad over and over again.
The weather was warm, autumn had just started, and it was still sunny, despite the fallen yellow leaves.
The ad stated that a regular person without superpowers was needed. Vasily had always dreamed of becoming a superhero, but he was tormented by the thought that he didn’t have superpowers, which often led to bouts of depression and aggression.
But still he was in doubt, because it was indicated that there was no salary. Vasya began to think aloud:
— And why do I need money, in fact? I’m being fed and watered here, given clothes and a place to sleep. They even clean my room. They change my linen, wash it. Why do I need money? Although, at least I will fulfill my dream.
And he agreed with himself. A few minutes later, he was in the director’s office for an interview.
The director explained that he needed to help the residents of the building for free. He had to take care of the elderly. He had to walk with them, talk to them, entertain them, and cheer them up.
He had to have conversations with those who were very sad. He had to help those who were stressed or aggressive to deal with their problems immediately.
To help Vasya provide psychological assistance and support, he was given several books on psychology with instructions. There, he learned how to relieve stress, how to believe in the best, how to get out of depression, and how to deal with aggression and other outbursts.
All winter, Vasya read the instructions and practiced his knowledge on people who needed help. And he helped them. They really got better. He made a lot of friends. He learned and taught them how to communicate and live in society.
In the spring, Vasya realized a lot about his life, and he was discharged from the psychiatric hospital. Thanks to his superhero work in the past, he never went back.
He enrolled in a regular school, worked at a regular job, and no longer worried about not having superpowers. After all, he realized that it is possible to help people in another way. And started a new life.
The path to the abyss or the fall
Kolya was always bullied at school, and no one wanted to be friends with him. He hated people and dreamed of becoming a sorcerer to get revenge on his bullies and become rich and powerful.
So he performed a ritual to summon a demon. He wanted to ask for power, magic, and strength.
And he succeeded. The demon appeared.
“What do you want?” the demon asked.
“I want to become a sorcerer. I want to gain power, magical abilities, and wealth.” — Kolya replied, kneeling before the demon.
— And the price? What will you give in return?
— I am ready for anything.
— You will do the job, and then I will talk to you about it. Prove that you are worthy. You must break all the commandments of the one you know and commit all the mortal sins. This is your sacrifice. After that, summon me again. I will talk to you about the deal.
— Okay, master. I am ready.
The demon disappeared. Kolya began committing sins. He was so eager to gain power and become a sorcerer that he didn’t notice how he became ruthless towards people.
When everything was done, he summoned the demon again, anticipating the rewards. But the demon didn’t come alone. It brought with it the judges from hell.
Kolya started talking first:
— Greetings, O Lord. Greetings to you, O Lords. I have done everything and I am ready to become a sorcerer.
— Yes, you have done everything. — the demon replied and turned to the judges, — And you saw that he failed?
— How did he fail? — Kolya exclaimed in surprise.
— Well, we have been watching you for a long time. In your next life, you could have been reborn as a serial killer with your personality. So all the judges started arguing. Some said that you could be helped and that the future disaster could be prevented. It was unimaginable how many deaths and troubles you would cause in your future life. The other judges decided to test you. But you came to us yourself. If you had refused to sin and repented, there would have been a chance to make you a good person, and in your next life you would have become a different person, not a maniac. Maybe you would have become a good person. But you chose to sin. You killed someone. You killed one person. But we will not allow you to kill in the future. You will no longer have a next life. I will consume your soul, and it will disappear forever. You will no longer exist, and there will be no reincarnation.
— Then I will start praying to God, and he will save me from you Demons.
The Demons laughed. The most important of the judges continued:
— You can no longer pray to God. He will not hear you, you have sunk to such a level that there is nothing good left in you. You cannot be saved. You are lost to God. You no longer exist for him. But you are now food for us. This is the test. Either you reform or we will eat you.
“But you promised to make me a magician.” murmured Kolya.
“We don’t make anyone a magician from the likes of you. We don’t breed evil. We are the judges. And our business is the cleanup. We are like the forest’s sanitary workers. Wolves in the forest eat sick animals and the forest flourishes. And we eat such insignificant people like you and the world flourishes. There must be a balance in the whole world. And we control this balance.
Kolya was eaten and his soul was absorbed. After the meal, the Demon asked the judges:
— Who’s next on the list?
— There’s a candidate, but he’s not as naive as the last one. He won’t commit sin right away.
— It’s okay. We’ll give him easy tasks first. Rituals or going to a crossroads. Let him play the role of a sorcerer. Create the illusion that he’s chosen and we’re giving him small pieces of something. We’ll supposedly teach him, and in the process of teaching, he’ll stumble, get carried away, and go off the rails. That’s where we’ll devour him.
Two steps away from the goal
Since childhood, Arthur had been trying to earn as much money as possible. By the age of 20, he had become the richest man in the country, owning several companies and buildings.
But even that wasn’t enough for him. From a young age, he aspired to become the ruler of the world. But where did these desires come from?
He was greedy, avaricious, and unprincipled. He lacked any form of empathy. He didn’t engage in charity. He didn’t help or care for others. Why so much money?
He didn’t have a family. Beautiful women flocked around him, trying to catch his attention. He was not only rich, but also as handsome as an angel.
But he wasn’t interested in relationships. He had a goal. It was as if he was born with this dream. To rule the world. But he didn’t know why.
He realized that money wouldn’t give him absolute power, so he started searching for artifacts in different countries to harness magic and achieve his goal through sorcery.
One day, in a secret mystical place, he met a shaman and decided to perform a ritual. He didn’t understand why he bought up a bunch of artifacts, but magic wouldn’t work for him.
He asked the shaman before the ritual,
“I want to know why I don’t teach magic, why it doesn’t work.”
