The textbook is based on the approved author’s method of the professor of the Music Education Department of the Moscow State Institute of Culture S.S. Karas, which consists in a systematic approach to teaching the principles of musical and performing thinking. The textbook consists of four parts and covers all the main styles of piano music with a detailed practical analysis of style differences in the musical language and performance technique.
