My name is Anna, and I am fourteen years old. I would like to tell you about my family. I do not have a very big family, but it is very important to me. There are five people in my family: my mother, my father, my older sister, my younger brother and me. We also have a dog, and we think he is a member of our family too.

My mother is a doctor. She works at a hospital and helps many people every day. She is kind, patient and sometimes a little strict. My father is an engineer. He works in an office and often comes home late, but he always finds time for us. In the evenings, he likes to read or watch TV with the family. I think my parents are very hardworking. They always try to do their best for us.

My sister Kate is seventeen. She is older than me, and sometimes we argue about small things. However, we also share many secrets, and she often gives me good advice. She wants to become a teacher in the future. My younger brother Tom is eight years old. He is funny and very active. He asks a lot of questions and loves playing outside with his friends.

My grandparents do not live with us, but they live near our house. We often visit them at the weekend. My grandmother likes cooking, and she always makes delicious cakes for us. My grandfather tells interesting stories about his childhood. When we visit them, the whole family sits at the table, drinks tea and talks about school, work and daily life.

I also have an aunt and an uncle. They are my mother’s sister and her husband. They have two children, so I have two cousins. We meet each other on holidays and at family parties. When all our relatives get together, we have a very big and noisy family dinner. Everyone talks at the same time, children laugh, and adults discuss different things. I really enjoy these moments.

In my opinion, family is not only about living in the same house. It is about love, support and understanding. When I have problems at school or feel sad, I can always talk to my parents, my sister or even my grandparents. They listen to me and try to help. I know that I am not alone.

Every family is different. Some people have a big family, and some are an only child. Some children live with one parent, and some live with their grandparents. But the most important thing is that family members care about each other. I am happy that I have a family that loves and supports me. I hope that in the future I will have a happy family too.

Текст

Friendship is very important in our life. Almost everyone has at least one friend. A real friend is a person who understands you, supports you and stays with you in good and bad times.

I have several friends, but my best friend is called Max. We met in primary school and have been friends for many years. Now we are classmates, and we sit next to each other in the classroom. We often help each other with homework and prepare for tests together.

Max is very kind and honest. He always tells the truth, even if it is not easy. He is also funny and friendly, so many people in our class like him. I am a little shy, but with Max I feel comfortable and confident. I can share my thoughts and feelings with him, and I know he will not laugh at me.

After school, we often spend time together. Sometimes we play football in the yard, sometimes we go for a walk or watch films at home. We both enjoy computer games and reading adventure books. It is great to have the same hobbies because we never get bored.

Of course, we sometimes argue. For example, we may disagree about a game or about what film to watch. However, we try to talk about the problem and understand each other. We do not stay angry for long. In my opinion, it is normal to argue sometimes. The most important thing is to respect your friend and say sorry if you are wrong.

I also have other friends at school. Some of them are my classmates, and some are from other classes. We meet during breaks, talk about lessons, teachers and our plans for the weekend. I think it is good to have different friends because you can learn something new from each person.

Friendship is not only about fun. It is also about trust and support. When I have problems, I can call my friend and talk about everything. A true friend listens внимательно and tries to help. I am happy that I have people in my life whom I can call real friends. I believe that good friendship can last for many years.

Текст

People often describe appearance when they meet someone for the first time. It helps us understand what a person looks like. Appearance includes height, build, hair, eyes and other features.

I would like to describe my best friend Lisa. She is of medium height and slim. She has long straight fair hair and blue eyes. She usually wears her hair down, but sometimes she makes a ponytail. Lisa has a friendly smile, and many people say she looks very beautiful.

Lisa often wears jeans and T-shirts, but at school she prefers simple and comfortable clothes. She does not wear glasses, but she sometimes wears sunglasses in summer. She likes natural style and does not use much make-up.

My brother looks very different from Lisa. He is tall and a little overweight. He has short dark hair and brown eyes. He usually wears glasses when he reads or works on the computer. He looks serious, but in fact he is very kind and funny.

I think appearance is important, but it is not the most important thing in a person. Some people are very handsome or beautiful, but they are not always kind or honest. In my opinion, character is more important than appearance. However, it is still useful to know how to describe people correctly.

When we describe someone, we can talk about their height, hair colour and style, eye colour and general look. It is also polite to use positive words and not to say anything rude. Every person is different, and that makes our world interesting.

Текст

Every person has their own character and personality. These words describe how we think, feel and behave. Some people are calm and patient, while others are active and energetic. Character makes each person unique.

In my class there are many different personalities. My friend Alex is very friendly and funny. He likes talking to people and easily makes new friends. He is also creative and often has interesting ideas for school projects. However, sometimes he can be a little lazy and forget about homework.

Another classmate, Maria, is very responsible and hardworking. She always does her homework on time and helps others if they have problems. She is polite to teachers and respectful to her classmates. Maria is also quite shy, but when she feels comfortable, she becomes more confident.

I think I am somewhere in the middle. I am usually calm and patient, especially when I work in a team. I try to be honest and kind to everyone. At the same time, I can be serious when the situation requires it. My parents say that I am responsible because I help at home and take care of my younger sister.

It is important to understand that nobody is perfect. Even very kind people can sometimes be rude or angry. The main thing is to learn from your mistakes and try to become a better person. We can develop our character by reading, learning new things and communicating with other people.

In my opinion, personality is more important than appearance. A person may look beautiful, but if they are rude or dishonest, it is difficult to be friends with them. On the other hand, a kind and honest person will always have true friends. That is why I try to work on my character and be the best version of myself.

Текст

Birthdays are very important for children and adults. Every year we celebrate the day when we were born. On this day, people often have a party with friends and family. They eat cake, sing songs and receive presents. Candles are usually put on the birthday cake. The birthday person makes a wish and blows out the candles.

I will tell you about my birthday. I am thirteen years old, and I celebrate my birthday every year with my family and friends. My birthday is in March. In the morning, my parents give me presents. I usually get books, clothes or something for my hobby. I feel happy when I receive a gift that I really wanted.

In the afternoon, we invite my friends to a small party at home. We play games, eat snacks and have a big chocolate cake with candles. Everyone sings «Happy Birthday,» and I make a wish before I blow out the candles. Sometimes we also have balloons and decorations. My sister likes to make a surprise for me. One year she hid a small present and I had to find it. It was fun and exciting.

Every year, I think about my age. When I was younger, I could not wait to be older. Now I feel that being thirteen is fun, but time passes very fast. I like that birthdays remind us of family and friends, and that we have a chance to celebrate together. I also like to celebrate my friends’ birthdays. We usually make a card, a small gift and sometimes a cake.

Some people celebrate birthdays at school with classmates. They bring candies, cakes or small gifts for everyone. Teachers often let children play games or sing songs in class. This makes the school day more fun and gives everyone a chance to be together. For older people, birthdays are more quiet, but they are still important. Family and friends often gather for dinner or a party to celebrate.

I think birthdays are special because they are about happiness, family, friendship and fun. Every year, we grow older, learn new things and meet new people. Celebrating a birthday is a nice tradition that reminds us that life is wonderful.

My daily routine is quite simple, but I like it. I usually wake up at seven o’clock in the morning. First, I brush my teeth and take a shower. Then I get dressed and have breakfast with my family. I usually eat bread, eggs and drink a cup of tea. After breakfast, I pack my bag and go to school. My school starts at eight thirty, so I have enough time to get ready.

We talk about our day and share our plans for the next day. In the evening, I have dinner with my parents and brother. We often talk about school, friends and interesting events that happened during the day.

Before I go to bed, I brush my teeth again and sometimes read a little. I usually go to bed at ten o’clock. I sleep well and get enough rest for the next day. On weekends, my daily routine is a little different. I wake up later and spend more time with my friends. I also do some chores at home and help my parents.

I like having a daily routine because it helps me organize my time. I know when I study, when I play and when I spend time with my family. It also helps me to be responsible and plan my day. A daily routine makes life easier and more comfortable, and I think everyone should have one.

Текст

Hobbies are activities that people enjoy in their free time. Everyone has hobbies because they make life more interesting and fun. Hobbies can be active, like sport, dancing or swimming, or creative, like painting, drawing and playing music. Some people prefer quiet hobbies, such as reading, collecting stamps or photography.

My favourite hobby is reading. I like adventure and fantasy books. I usually read every evening before I go to bed. Reading helps me relax and also improves my English. Sometimes I discuss books with my friends, and we recommend interesting stories to each other.

My friend Alex enjoys sport. He plays football, swims and cycles every week. He says that sport makes him strong and healthy. He also likes running in the park. When we meet, we sometimes play football together. I like watching him play, and I also try to join him in some activities.

Another classmate, Maria, has creative hobbies. She likes drawing and painting. She often spends hours drawing landscapes or portraits. Sometimes she shows her paintings at school exhibitions. Maria also enjoys playing the piano. Music makes her happy, and she practices every day. I admire her patience and creativity.

Some children like collecting things. For example, my cousin collects coins from different countries. He knows a lot about history because of his collection. My neighbour is interested in photography. He often takes pictures of nature, flowers and animals. He wants to become a professional photographer in the future.

Hobbies are not only fun but also help people learn new skills and meet interesting friends. I think everyone should have at least one hobby. You can spend time alone or with friends, learn something new, and enjoy yourself. Hobbies also help us relax after school and make life more enjoyable.

Sometimes hobbies become a passion or even a future profession. Some musicians start with playing instruments as a hobby, some athletes begin sport as a hobby, and some writers start with reading and writing stories for fun. It is important to choose hobbies you like and enjoy every day.

Текст

Free time is very important in our life. After school or work, people need time to relax, have fun and do things they enjoy. Everyone spends free time differently. Some people like reading, listening to music or watching TV. Others prefer playing sports, going for a walk or meeting friends. Free time helps us rest, feel happy and improve our health.

I usually spend my free time at home or outside. On weekdays, I read books or listen to music in my room. Sometimes I play computer games or watch interesting films on TV. On weekends, I prefer going outside and doing active things. I often go cycling or swimming. When the weather is nice, I like walking in the park with my family or friends. Fresh air and movement make me feel good.

My friends and I also spend free time together. We play football, basketball or volleyball after school. Sometimes we visit each other at home and play board games. We also enjoy chatting about school, hobbies and our favourite films. Parties are another way to spend free time. On birthdays or special days, we gather, have fun and celebrate together.

Free time is not only for fun. We can also use it to learn new skills or develop hobbies. For example, some children spend their free time learning to play a musical instrument, drawing, or doing photography. Some like cooking or gardening. Using free time wisely helps us grow and become more creative and independent.

It is important to have a balance. Spending too much time on TV or computer games is not healthy. Physical activity, hobbies, reading and communication with friends make free time more useful and enjoyable. Free time is also a good opportunity to rest after a busy day at school and prepare for tomorrow.

Everyone has their own favourite ways to spend free time. Some enjoy quiet activities, others prefer active ones. Some like being alone, others like spending time with friends and family. I think free time is one of the most valuable parts of life because it helps us feel happy, relaxed and full of energy for new challenges.

Текст

Feelings and emotions are an important part of our life. They show how we react to different situations. Every person has feelings. Sometimes we feel happy and excited, other times we feel sad or angry. Understanding our feelings helps us behave better and communicate with other people.

I will tell you about my feelings during a normal school day. In the morning, I usually feel calm and relaxed. I like the quiet time before school. When I see my friends, I feel happy and excited because we can talk and play together. Sometimes, before a test, I feel nervous. I try to study and prepare so that I do not feel too worried.

During lessons, I feel interested in some subjects, like English and science. When the teacher explains something in a fun way, I feel excited. If I do not understand something, I can feel frustrated. I try to ask questions or ask my classmates for help. This makes me feel better and less nervous.

After school, I often feel tired, especially if I have had many lessons and activities. I take some rest, have a snack, or go for a walk. Playing sports or listening to music helps me feel relaxed. Sometimes, when I am alone, I can feel lonely, but I usually call my friends or spend time with my family.

During the weekend, I usually feel happy and excited. I visit my grandparents, meet my friends, or go to interesting places. On my birthday or other special occasions, I feel proud and joyful. Emotions are not always easy to understand, but they are part of life. Even negative feelings, like being sad or angry, teach us something about ourselves.

It is important to talk about your feelings. You can tell your parents, friends, or teachers how you feel. This helps to solve problems and understand each other better. Sometimes feelings change quickly. One moment you can be excited, the next moment you may feel nervous. Learning to control your emotions and understand them makes life easier and more enjoyable.

In my opinion, it is good to have positive feelings, like happiness, excitement, pride and relaxation. But it is also normal to feel sad, angry, or worried sometimes. Everyone experiences different emotions, and understanding them helps us live a balanced and happy life.
