Leonid Sboyko is a Russian poet, essayist, translator, travel writer (Spain, Cuba, Guatemala, Montenegro, etc.), coiner of maxims, puns and geographical oxymora. His literary work in both English and his native tongue explores time and human solitude, communication and living in the context of a rapidly changing world. He is the author of Russia’s first full-blown monograph on the Gibraltar sovereignty problem (ISBN 384542866x). Leonid Sboyko is a member of the Russian Geographical Society.
