Marina Russina was born and grew up in the west of Ukraine close to the Carpathians mountains. Already as a child she loved hiking and skiing. After graduation, she immigrated with her family to Germany, where she lives now with her son. She works as an anesthesiologist in a small hospital not far from the Alps, goes hiking and skiing and learns to fly on a glider.
