Valery Kushlin is Professor and Founding Chair of the Department of Public Regulation of the Economy at the Presidential Academy in Moscow, Russia. Throughout his more than 50-year-long academic career, he published extensive research on the macroeconomics of scientific and technological progress, techno-economic paradigm shifts, as well as related problems of economic theory, expanded economic reproduction, and public sector management of economic development.
